Local History Day 2009

Our prestigious annual event will again take place at Friends House, Euston, London.The BALH Annual Lecture 2009 will be given by Prof Nigel Goose from the University of Hertfordshire on the subject of almshouses. In the morning the Open Forum session will be on Local History & the Media, contributors include Dr Nick Barratt and Dr Alan Crosby. There will also be the presentation of BALH Awards, AGM,and bookstalls from societies and publishers. The programme will begin at 10.30 with registration and coffee, and will end with tea at 4 pm. Full details will be on your ticket.
